Meet Carly Walton
As a music teacher who has over 6 years of experience teaching students online, I’m passionate about helping other teachers build thriving online studios. I created Teach Music Online to help other music teachers implement the same online business-building methods I used to grow and scale my own online business--all while raising my children and traveling to over 15 countries around the world.
A little bit about me: I studied music education and professional music at Berklee College of Music, and I’ve worked with some of the world’s most notable musicians--including Boston Pops Conductor Bob Winter and classical performer Ed Bednar. I’ve arranged music for choirs and soloists, taught music from grades K-12, and taught group keyboard classes to all levels.
As the former owner of a private music studio with a full staff of music teachers and a rotation of more than 80 students, I understand what it’s like to crave the freedom and flexibility that an online studio can bring. I’m living proof that it’s possible to build a successful online music studio--and now, I want to teach you how to do it, too.

I don’t teach piano, will your methods help with other instrumental teachers?
The methods, tactics, and skills taught here apply to all instruments. We focus on real teaching skills, tech know-how, business tactics, and social media strategy. All of these principles apply to other instruments, no only the piano. There are teachers within the community that teach other instruments so you’ll have teachers to bounce ideas off of!
How long do I have access?
As long as your subscription is active you'll have access to all member content.
